We’ll be taking a stroll down memory lane, looking back at the tremendous impact Merrimack Hall has made on the lives of people, just like you and us, who call Huntsville home.

100 years
of remarkable
achievements

Tens of thousands of people have passed through Merrimack Hall over the past 100 years. Help us cement its place in history as we lead Huntsville/Madison County to become the Gold Standard for inclusion in our state.

From 1919 - 1989, Merrimack Hall was the centerpiece of the vibrant Mill Village and was a hub of activity for the thousands of textile mill workers who made our community what it is today.

In 2006, Debra and Alan Jenkins purchased Merrimack Hall and revitalized the cultural focal point the building once was.Debra and Alan Jenkins purchased Merrimack Hall and restored it as a cultural focal point in #westsideHSV.

In 2008, Merrimack Hall hosted its first dance class for people with special needs. That class had 10 children enrolled.Merrimack Hall offered one little dance class for 10 children with special needs, sparking a movement of inclusion across North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.

Now 2019, Merrimack Hall stands proudly as the center of activity for hundreds of children and adults with special needs and their families.Merrimack Hall stands as a leading advocate for those in our community who are least able to advocate for themselves and proudly serves hundreds of children and adults with special needs and their families.
