Dance Your Dreams! Spring 2009 Recital
The cornerstone of Merrimack Hall's community outreach is our Dance Your Dreams! program for disabled and special needs children. Every week, children with a range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and autism come take a specially designed dance class tailored to their needs. Each child is paired with a teen volunteer who helps them execute the movements they otherwise would not be able to perform in a mainstream dance class.
Join us for a special evening with these beautiful ballerinas, including special performances by other local performing arts organizations
This special evening will also include a lecture demonstation by Hip Hop dancer/choreographer Chris Tyler with local dancers! Chris will select dancers from his Saturday and Sunday Master Classes to perform on stage with him during the Dance Your Dreams recital!
