The Great American Trailer Park Musical

ARCHIVE: May 7-11, 2008

WARNING: This show contains strong language, tacky outfits, bad perms, adultery, road kill, 80's nostalgia, and spray cheese everything a musical should be!

Direct from Off Broadway, this was a southern stop on the first national tour of The Great American Trailer Park Musical. It brought with it a new tenant in town, and she wreaked havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park, Armadillo Acres. When Pippi “the stripper on the run” came between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband, the storms began to brew — and we ain’t talkin’ about any old Florida hurricane!

"It's 'South Park' meets 'Desperate Housewives' "
The New York Sun

“The joint is jammed and jumping! Lots of raucous laughter is shaking the walls where a new musical is delighting audiences. The show is a little like ‘The Honeymooners’ meet ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Urinetown’! ”
Liz Smith, New York Post

“Every song is full of surprises, as the music slips across the dial of American radio from country to blues to rock to disco to bump and grind and R&B.” The New York Times
